Race in one player mode against the computer or two player mode against a friend. Controls are simple with just one button for accelerating, but don't go to fast or you will spin off just like the real thing. A counter registers your current lap and speedometer give an idea of your speed.

The La Redoute Ceros based Ezine for contract publisher Redwood features deep links to the latest hot fashions and products on offer from the companies main e-commerce website. Inspiring videos advise on how to achieve various looks.
I was responsible for programming all of the actionscript on the both the pitch and first issues of this ezine.
Boots health and beauty Ceros ezine

Freelance contract with Redwood Publishing, to work as freelance senior flash developer, producing games and interactive content for Boots health and Beauty Ezine. Featuring some innovative pages including a nail colour chooser where the user chooses and paints the colour onto virtual toes. An interactive suntan lotion selector tailored to your skin tone, type and age. Various products are deep linked to the Boots site, and informative and entertaining videos.
Rugby game

The player is controlled by the left, right, up, and down keys, pressing space controls the hand off and collecting Oranges gives extra pushing power.
Once the level is completed, the next level is faster and thus more challenging.
The send to a friend function adds a viral aspect to the game.
Snap card game

Classic snap game where the user must match pairs of Celebs. The card turning is animated and on a correct match the names are displayed on the card.
Christmas cryptic quiz

A fun cryptic quiz of television program titles. Both flash cookies and a database collect the users email and position in the game allowing them to return at a later time and continue from where they left. Data captured can also be used for future marketing purposes where the user has agreed via the tick box.
Table football game

Table football game, where the object of the game is to shoot into the goal. The mouse controls the left and right movement and a power meter rises when the mouse is pressed. Timing is crucial, let go of the mouse at the right moment to ensue that enough power will get that ball into the Goal. Too much and it will bounce off the posts.

Musical word search

Musical word search. The game featured two modes of operation, normal and timed word search. Colorful visual feed back ensured that the user understood which words had been found and which were currently selected. The game was programmed to be reusable.
Cricket Game

Cricket game where main objective of the game is to whack the ball at the correct angle to score a 2, 4 or 6. The bat is controlled by moving the mouse which gives the player a more physical experience. The animations of the players add a comedy element to the game.
London marathon game

London marathon game where the player has to get ahead of the crowd by repeatedly bashing the left and right buttons of the keyboard. The quasi 3d visuals maintain the illusion of running through London and passing various sites on the way. A display at the top of the page tells you where you are on the route in relation to the crowd.
